Lafayette Center for Yoga
The Lafayette Center for Yoga will be discontinuing classes & closing it's doors as of August 28th, 2016. Our Sunday, 27th, Ashtanga Class and Primary Series Workshop will be our final day.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to serve the Lafayette yoga community for nine years and will always cherish this time spent with you. The yoga community has grown greatly over our time here and it has been a joy getting to know & work with all of you. We thank you for your loyalty and support with our sincere wish that you continue your practice and enjoy all the benefits of the rich healing tradition of yoga.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to have shared so many wonderful experiences with the yoga community of Lafayette. We bid you a fond farewell and many blessings on your future endeavors. Always remember, BE HAPPY!

The Lafayette Center for Yoga is the only location in Lafayette dedicated exclusively to the practice of Hatha Yoga, where beginning students, experienced practitioners and even teachers will flourish. Scheduled classes are offered at consistent times of day, covering a range of practices from gentle Yin and Slow Flow to higher cardio Ashtanga and Vinyasa practices. These along with Private Yoga Therapy classes are designed to meet the health needs of each individual.
Owners, Lydia and Michael Morton are Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers (ERYT) with Yoga Alliance and established the center in 2006. They offer Yoga Teacher Training and Workshops, and are one of the few yoga studios in Louisiana registered with the international professional organization Yoga Alliance. The teaching staff at the center are all certified at the 200 hour level and have completed LCFY Teacher Training. This ensures that all classes are consistent with the description on the schedule and follow LCFY guidelines. They bring a unique approach to teaching and practicing Hatha Yoga to Acadiana.
